Mooreland Farms is a small, family-owned farm located in Siloam, North Carolina. Founded in 2010 by Morris Moore, the farm was built on a commitment to responsible land stewardship and high-quality beef production. In 2021, the next generation joined the operation, continuing and expanding that vision.
We raise 100% grass-fed and grass-finished Black Angus cattle using regenerative agriculture practices. Our animals are slow-grown on diverse forage pastures that are never treated with chemical inputs. We do not use routine vaccines, antibiotics, growth hormones, or grain—allowing our cattle to develop naturally while producing nutrient-dense, high-quality beef.
Our herd is managed through rotational grazing, a system that keeps cattle healthy while improving soil health, increasing biodiversity, and allowing pastures time to rest and recover. This approach benefits both the animals and the land for the long term.
Mooreland Farms is proud to offer beef directly to our community. We sell individual frozen cuts as well as bulk beef shares, including quarter, half, and whole options. We are fully licensed to handle and sell our products.
Our commitment to sustainability and excellence has earned us recognition, including the 2022 NC Environmental Stewardship Award. We are Beef Quality Assurance certified, graduates of the Soil Health Academy, and active members of our state and local cattlemen’s associations.
